Bouchon

Bouchon of Yountville comes from the family of Thomas Keller Restaurants and strives to bring the French tradition of cozy, family owned bistros to the area. A dark, intimate interior starts diners off on their quest for traditional French cuisine as they are given a menu that consists of classic dishes. A list of Fruits de Mer, Caviar, and other Hors D’Oeuvres guide guests through a beginning course, leading up to the stars of the meal: Les Plats Principaux. This section of the menu features the French bistro classic, Steak Frites, as well as traditional entrees like Croque Madame and Canard al’Orange. Side dishes have their own menu, resulting in a true build-your-own style of dining. Bouchon also offers patrons an affordable and varied wine list that includes wines from both the United States and France, granting diners a unique French dining experience, no passport necessary.

Ad Hoc, meaning “for this purpose” in Latin, originally started out as a temporary restaurant with the purpose of serving customers while the permanent restaurant was being built. With the positive feedback from the community, the owners decided to keep Ad Hoc just the way it was. Now the restaurant is serving up American cuisine in Yountville, California. The inventive dinner menu changes daily and usually consists of three courses. Loyal customers rave about many of their regular dishes, which include Buttermilk Fried Chicken and Barbecue. These dishes have become so revered by the public that Ad Hoc even offers them for lunch to-go on certain days of the week in their annex to the restaurant: Addendum. Elegant, modern décor and ethnically inspired cuisine combine to create Redd of Napa Valley. The interior of this contemporary restaurant consists of a large dining room as well as one that is a bit more intimate. An outdoor patio allows guests to appreciate the seasons near some of Napa’s most picturesque vineyards. Some of the signature lunch and dinner dishes are Japanese inspired, such as the Sashimi of Hamachi on Sticky Rice, while others are more of a traditional American dish such as the Glazed Pork Belly. The brunch menu is equally diverse, with dishes such as the Huevos Rancheros and Steamed Pork Buns. Redd also offers diners a bar menu for those who just want to stop by for specialty drinks and small dishes, such as the Pork and Shrimp Pots Stickers. Located in one of the oldest wineries in the Napa Valley area, Bottega serves its guests fine Italian dishes to complement the classic interior. This restaurant features two dining rooms where cold diners may take refuge by a warm fire in the winter, as well as an outdoor patio for warmer days. A bar completes this large space. The search for fresh ingredients from local sources results in a changing menu, however patrons can expect to see a wide variety of traditional pastas, including selections such as Pan Roasted Potato Gnocchi and Red Wheat Tagliarini. This dinner menu also offers main dishes featuring a plethora of meat options, such as the Twice Cooked Natural Pork Chop and the “Liberty” Duck Three Ways Roasted.
