Eos

Make Reservation Top 10 Best Restaurants Eos of Cole Valley prides itself on its unique variety of California and Asian-Fusion dishes. With a dark interior filled with décor from both sides of the Pacific, it would appear that the food is not the only fusion in this dual cultured restaurant. Named after the goddess of the dawn in Greek mythology, Eos presents itself not only as a restaurant, but also as a wine bar with a worldly and varied list of fine wines. Only the freshest ingredients from local farms are allowed in the dishes that Eos serves to its hungry customers. With such a fresh start, it should come as no surprise that this restaurant offers many options for vegetarians. The Seven Course Tasting Menu is an example of this, with one option featuring a very meaty entrée and the other with meatless courses. Their A La Carte menu is similarly divided, with vegetarian options such as the Fried Quinoa, featuring tofu, and the Thai Basil Gnocchi to name only a few. Carnivores will appreciate the Tea Smoked Duck Breast and the Grilled Angus Hanger Steak. Whether there to appreciate the wine or the distinctive spin on the many food options, Eos is sure to leave a few impressions.

Bambino's Ristorante

Make Reservation Top 10 Best Restaurants Bambino’s Ristorante is one of the oldest restaurants in the Cole Valley neighborhood. With its commitment to traditional Italian dishes and cooking methods, it is no wonder that this restaurant has succeeded—the dinner menu offers guests a healthy blend of soups, salads, and pasta dishes. Gluttons never fear: this menu also features rich and decadent options such as the Gnocchi di Ricotta or the Pancetta Wrapped Filet Mignon. Seasonal prix fixe menus are available weekly, allowing new guests to get a taste of some of the best dishes at Bambino’s. While the lunch menu also offers many traditional pasta dishes, it comes with a section that features omelets and eggs. This menu is not to be confused with the weekend brunch menu, however, which features pancakes, eggs, and special Italian brunch dishes. These include the Pizza Di Mattina, a pizza with untraditional toppings such as eggs and bacon. There are so many ways to experience Bambino’s Ristorante, why not give this veteran restaurant a try?
