Often referred to as the restaurant that Don Johnson and Cheech Marin own, Ana Mandara’s real stars are Executive Chef Khai Duong and Sommelier Joanna Breslin. Chef Duong’s French twist on Vietnamese cuisine has earned the restaurant immense praise and Breslin’s extensive wine list has earned Ana Mandara the Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence every year since the restaurant's inception. Ana Mandera is translated as “beautiful refuge,” but more specifically it refers to a 700-year old Vietnamese story of forbidden love.
