With a long, colorful history of renovation and renewal, The Cliff House has been an iconic figure perched on San Francisco’s cliffs for nearly 150 years. Today, overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the restaurant is the crown jewel of the west coast’s largest urban park. The building is rich with history, featuring neoclassical architecture reminiscent of the original 1863 Cliff House, proudly displaying more than 200 autographed pictures of dignitaries and movie stars that have visited over the years. The menu boasts some classic west coast fare like Cioppino and Dungeness crab, in addition to bistro staples like Braised Short Ribs.
