Sitting on a quaint corner in the San Francisco district of Outer Richmond, Minami Restaurant is a family owned endeavor that serves guests only the freshest of sushi, sashimi, and nigiri. Traditional Japanese decorations adorn the walls, while light fixtures sway in a gentle breeze overhead. As diners take their seat at a number of cozy tables, they are given a menu featuring a long list of sushi options, including cooked and vegetarian sushi rolls. Many of these rolls are a little out of the ordinary, providing guests with a meal that is deliciously out of their comfort zone. Vegetarian options include Ume, which is pickled plum, and Natto, fermented soybeans. Minami is especially known for its Spider Roll, which features a fried whole soft shell crab.
