Minako Restaurant of the Mission district prides itself on using only organic ingredients to create tasty and healthy sushi rolls and other Japanese plates. This restaurant is definitely a family affair, with the friendly and perpetually smiling owner and her mother in the restaurant most days. The dynamic duo not only welcomes guests but also expertly prepares the food. A hand written and hand drawn menu captures the essence of this quaint restaurant. Minako is not only known for being organic, however. It has also gained a reputation for offering a long list of vegetarian, vegan, and even gluten free options. A separate menu exists for the last category, and features dishes that are rarely included in gluten free options, such as the Shrimp Tempura. While a long list of organic and healthy options reels customers in, the friendly service in a familial atmosphere keeps them coming back. Full Review
